Code Purple on Compaq when Reinstalling

Solution When reinstalling a compaq PC using the reinstall partition, you may receive a code purple message.

To bypass this error, edit the file C:\hp\bin\ConfigCheck\cfgchk.bat
and remove the line python c:\hp\bin\ConfigCheck\run.py. You can use WINPE, BARTPE, or boot Windows CD and choose System Recovery.

Its an antipiracy script, to check that a number in the BIOS matches programed number in the reinstall partition.
